We provide free food, clothing, school supplies, and personal care items to students in the Canandaigua and Victor school districts. Our work ensures equitable, easy access to basic needs.

We dream of a world where every child has what they need to reach their full potential in, and out, of the classroom. Our work helps students, their families, teachers, and our entire community.

How to Donate

The Spot is a registered 501(c)3 dedicated to improving the lives of local children by providing access to food, clothing, school supplies and personal care items via free resource rooms in Canandaigua and Victor.

There are many ways to support our mission:

A monthly donation of

$15 or more feeds a student year round.

The SpotMart school-based food pantries provide 15 pound bags of non perishable food each month to children via home deliveries and drive thru pick ups. SpotMart also serves as an emergency food resource for students and their families and can be accessed by social workers, teachers, and administrators any time there is an immediate need.

Our program relies on partnerships and donations from local businesses to fulfill our mission. We have several corporate donor packages available - our team will work with you to design a giving program that makes sense for your business and helps local children in crisis situations.
