For a decade, The Spot has made sure students in Canandaigua and Victor have the food, clothing, and supplies they need to show up ready to learn. To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we're setting our biggest goal yet: $10,000 in monthly donations.

To celebrate 10 years, we're asking our community to help us reach $10,000 in monthly donations. Reaching it means every child who needs us in Canandaigua and Victor can count on us, every month, for years to come.
Every monthly gift moves us closer, and a little goes a long way: a monthly donation of
$20 or more feeds a student year round.
A Decade of Showing Up for Our Kids
Ten years ago, The Spot started with a simple belief: every child deserves what they need to reach their full potential, in and out of the classroom. Today, we serve students in every school in the Canandaigua and Victor school districts.
Our on-site resource rooms give students quiet, easy access to seasonal gear, clothing, sneakers, personal hygiene items, school supplies, snacks, and more. Our SpotMart school-based food pantries send home 20‑pound bags of groceries every month, and act as an emergency pantry whenever a family needs food between distributions.
We also provide weekly support to families who need it most, and pack special food bags for children experiencing homelessness, with meals that can be prepared in a motel room with little or no kitchen.
None of it would be possible without our donors, volunteers, school partners, and local businesses. This anniversary is as much yours as it is ours.

Kids' Needs Don't Take a Month Off
Every month, families count on groceries from SpotMart. Some families count on us every week. And when a teacher or social worker calls about a student with an empty fridge or no winter coat, we need to be ready that same day.
